This is a fabulous new Kontra 450 orange from Roto-Tech, is fitted with a side steering console fitted with cable steering, wheel and a 12V / USB charging panel, forward facing helm and passenger seats and two side lockers / side facing seats in grey. We've included a battery, battery box, bilge bump and stainless ladder, making it ready for the outboard of your choice. It has a long shaft transom and is recommended for 40hp to 60hp when fitted with a console.
The Roto-Tech Kontra 450 hull was designed for Search and Rescue, and is used by Emergency Services across Europe and beyond, the craft design is super tough and stable. This layout maintains a full walk through access with lots of storage space making it ideal for Sailing Club Safety Boats and RYA PB2 training, as well as fishing and general family fun.
The 450 is rotomolded in extremely hard wearing yet recyclable polyethylene. The hull design with fine bow and chines, cuts through chop with ease and without excessive spray, whilst providing a very stable platform when at rest. There are two very large bow lockers and a large forward quarter locker - all with labyrinth lid seals and drains to ensure kit is kept dry. Stainless folding bow cleats, stainless transom pad and stainless side rails are included as standard. A slip resistant flat deck has a channel underneath, taking any water to a covered sump with transom drain The stainless side railings allow the fitment of a huge array of Railblaza accessories, whether for fishing, navigation, lighting or a number of other applications.
