Permatex Blue RTV is a multi-purpose sensor-safe, low-odour, non-corrosive RTV gasket maker. Ultra Blue is tested to OEM specifications and outperforms conventional silicones. Temperature range -65°F to 500°F (-54°C to 260°C) intermittent; resists auto and shop fluids and vibration.

  4. Superior adhesion to oily surfaces with long term durability
  5. Eliminates the need for pre-formed, pre-cut, paper, rubber or cork gaskets
  6. Sold complete with application nozzle

Directions

  1. For best results, surfaces should be clean and dry
  2. Cut nozzle and apply with a continuous 2 to 6mm bead of silicone to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. 
  3. Assemble parts immediately while silicone is still wet. 
  4. Finger tighten until material begins to squeeze out around flanges
  5. Let dry for one hour then tighten to torque specifications
  6. Allow 24 hours to fully cure before filling with fluids or returning to service.
