This pack of two drive shaft seals fit beneath the water pump base bearing housing directly below the water pump in the lower unit (gearbox). They help prevent water entering the lower unit and gear oil escaping from the lower unit via the driveshaft. 

Not to be confused with cheap unbranded components. This high quality item is manufactured by OMAX Marine. They replace Yamaha & Selva Pt. No. 93101-25M57 and fit the following outboards:
