For Twin Outboard installations up to 600hp (combined), where each Outboard has a steering cylinder and the two are connected via hoses. Ideally suited for modern potting / creal fishing catamarans with a chute at the stern, where tie-bar fitment isn't possible and there's conduit for steering hose across the bridge deck.
The Admiral Series has been designed to offer a premium range of hydraulic steering for leisure and commercial boat users, with features including corrosion resistant brass bronze and stainless components (instead of aluminium) and "field-fit" seal replacement. No other brand offers this quality of manufacture.
HyDrive's OBKIT1-FL includes two 211BH brass bronze cylinders, providing the most comprehensive protection measures against the effects of corrosion and electrolysis, with HyDrive's renowned high quality finish. The piston rod is manufactured from high quality stainless steel - no chrome plating to peel and cause split seals! The unique composite bull horns and seal on the link arm completely isolate the cylinder from the outboard and rest of the boat - no pitting shafts and no fragile earthing wires required! 3 The OBKIT1-FL also includes the 401 Helm with stainless steering shaft and comes with additional steering fluid, hose and a CAT Valve to ensure correct outboard alignment.
