The Kontra 350 is a modern, multi-purpose 3.5m polyethylene boat that punches well above its weight. It's fully recyclable and designed for both recreational use and professional or rescue applications.
Its unique cathedral type hull design with additional port and starboard buoyancy (see drawing below) offers excellent stability, manoeuvrability, and performance with very low wash. This makes the Kontra 350 ideal for a broad range of applications from fishing to safety boat operations.
Despite its compact size, the internal layout provides as much usable space as larger boats from other brands. It comes as standard with a generous bow locker featuring a strong lid and stainless steel railings, while the rest of the interior is open to allow for flexible layouts to suit various needs.
The Kontra 350's cathedral-type hull provides a broad bow, offering a dry and stable ride superior to standard vee hulls. A deep channel around the bow locker aids water runoff. It can accommodate a huge volume of fixed or removable locker storage, offering more internal space than many larger boats. Photo below shows the 3.5m Kontra 350 alongside a 3.5m inflatable boat.
Features include inner and outer hull mouldings, a non-skid square section bow boarding pad, a full 25mm stainless steel rail allowing accessories from Railblaza attachment to man overboard cradles, multi-chamber buoyancy, and a proven track record with leisure, commercial, and hire use across Europe.
The below photo shows a Kontra 350 with steering console and helm seat, which can be fitted as part of a new build or as an accessory after purchase. When fitted these items allow full bow-stern walk through to be maintained. The photo also shows a lefthand throttle adaptation, allowing use as an RYA training boat.
